are there actually people who don’t have any stuffed animals? like real people who decided once they hit middle school or something that they needed to sell all their cuddly friends because adorable plush puppies and bears are for children only? where are they? are they ok? do they need someone to talk to
be sure to understand ur s/o’s way of showing affection and make them aware of yours.. some ppl show affection by buying u things and some ppl will say I love u a million times and some will make u breakfast some will leave u the last ice cream, but it’s really important to know about these things bc u could not notice them and feel unloved while your s/o feels taken for granted and it’s just all a big misunderstanding so please talk about these things
my name is Bella Luna and I’m a 20 year old queer, vegan witchling in the SF Bay area. I’m a working artist/designer and adult model. I identify within the wiccan community although I’m monotheistic (only believe in one God) – I was raised in a unitarian household by Jewish and Buddhist parents and I realized that eastern sanskrit-based religions (especially monotheistic Hinduism where Krishna is the only God) is extremely similar to Judaism. I think that Adonai/Yahweh (The Jewish God in the Torah) and Krishna are one in the same, and that is who I worship. But usually I just refer to this vaguely as ‘the universe’ and that is who I give offerings to on my altar (flowers, fruit, etc.), ask for spiritual guidance for my readings, and all that.
Although I do not religious identify as Pagan/Wiccan necessarily I do practice witchcraft/magick — I don’t think theres anything necessarily ‘otherworldly’ about it. I think it’s just our connection to both our subconscious and the universe (who knows, maybe I’m just trying to simplify it and it really know it’s otherworldly deep down) because our conscious minds can only pick up on so much, so practicing magick is one way to try and connect deeper and recognize more in our universe. We are all born Krishna conscious but we lose it over the years because of losing ourselves to Maya (the material world we experience everyday – Maya translates to ‘illusion’).
I specialize in palmistry, tarot readings, sigil magick, and pendulum readings. I also have knowledge on crystals, flowers, (some) herbs, and ritual practices.
Please feel free to have an open dialogue with me. I’m always open to talk. Also open to doing readings for people, making sigils for people, and trading with people!
Btw that’s both a visual and a literal Chinese pun and I’m literally laughing so hard right now (my parents say this every year) and I want everyone to understand this.
Here’s the two phrases you’ll need to know:
年年有鱼 (nián nián you yú) - “(I wish you have) fish every year”
年年有余 (nián nián you yú) - “(I wish you have) extra every year” - this is a common blessing used in China
Both the 鱼 and 余 characters sound exactly the same and here’s where the pun comes in.
Every Lunar New Year, as good luck, we eat “fish” so that we can “have fish every year”. In other words, we’re eating fish so that we can have extra every year.
Extra what, you ask? Extra everything! Extra money in the bank, extra food on our tables, extra happiness, etc, etc. It’s like an all-around blessing. Very kind and used often during Lunar New Year.
The cat has already gotten her “extra” (fish) for the year so the blogger is wishing you “fish” (extra) every year ^^
finally someone explained it, thank you<3
I am so delighted to learn that somebody else also has the tradition of eating puns for blessings on the New Year.
